ViVa Brazil 2009

For many years ABRISA has faced difficulties to make the "ViVa Brazil" project happen, some times using the very few resources available. Unfortunately the lack of money and sponsorship will force us not to have the "Viva Brazil 2009".

We must never give though. This is an opportunity for event organisers to join ABRISA, as much as businesses that would like to sponsor the event in 2010.

As a reminder, the Annual Meeting will be on the next 1st of February of 2009.

The community is growing in Victoria. So we feel it becomes necessary to have a permanent local Consulate Office in Melbourne. ABRISA invites you to give your opinion using our survey tool. The result will be sent to the Brazilian authority.

Dance Class - 7th of December

Hello All,
It was a great success the dance class last Sunday the 2nd, under the coordination of teacher Carla. The class was totally booked, with the ladies very excited about an hour and a half of suet and samba. If you missed it, came to our last class of 2008, on the next Sunday, 7th of December from 4pm at Sol Green Community Centre (Melways 2J/K2), corner of Montague St. and Coventry St., South Melbourne. Don't miss it!

The New ABRISA Committee

The New ABRISA Administrative Committee was elected on the 3rd of February, 2008. This committee will be continuing with ABRISA's activities already underway and will also focus on activity development associated with our people entering their third age.

Welcome Eliana Neiva, Ester Weiss, Roseli Diniz and José Ribeiro and our fantastic team of volunteers who will ensure the continuation of our activities.
